Shed Building Tips

Shed Building Tips
Hey guys, thinking of building a shed this summer? Well get those power tools out of storage, or even better go buy some new ones. What guy or gal doesn’t need more tools? Find a level spot that is easily accessible before you start. How level the ground is will determine if you need higher piers in one of the corners. Next, decide how big you shed needs to be. I suggest go as big as you can, I always seem to run out of room. Two things to consider when determining the location is the property line and the homeowner association. Most HOA’s require buildings, being added to the property, to be approved by a committee. Also, they require it to resemble the house by making it the same color, using the same siding, and the same color roofing. You don’t want to spend time and money on something that will have to be torn down if a dispute ever erupted. Do your homework on this issue. After you have found a good location for your building and gotten approval from your HOA, if needed, it’s time to get started. Good luck everyone!
